  1. Welcome to Geneabloggers, Janice!
I am also a new blogger - I just got started over the Christmas holidays.
Although I already had a lot of material before I started posting, I've found that reading a few blogs a week and taking part in blog carnivals has really inspired me to branch out and write all kinds of posts.
    Good luck with your blog,

  2. My grandfather is Amos Hess -- I am son of George Vernon Hess. It was a surprise when my brother told me to look at your web site and I saw a picture of my grandfather (Amos) that I had seen most of my life.
